Google is rolling out an interim update with Android 17 QPR2 Beta 7.1, targeting specific performance problems that arose in the testing cycle.
The headline improvement in this release addresses a serious UI stuttering issue that was degrading the user experience. The bug previously caused noticeable lag and frame drops during everyday system navigation on affected devices.
Enrolled testers should receive the minor bug-fix update over the air as Google continues to polish the platform ahead of a wider, stable rollout.
