Google has rolled out Android 17 QPR3 Beta 3, delivering welcome refinements and restoring several helpful features to Pixel smartphones. Beta testers can now access functionality that had previously been sidelined or altered in earlier test builds.
While major platform updates often introduce sweeping changes, Quarterly Platform Releases (QPR) typically focus on polishing system performance and addressing user feedback. This latest beta build aims to improve the everyday user experience by putting preferred tools and settings back in the hands of Pixel owners.
As Google continues testing ahead of an eventual stable rollout, users enrolled in the beta program can download the update directly on supported Pixel devices to try the returning capabilities firsthand.
