This update broadens direct access to factory parts, allowing device owners and independent repair shops to fix supported hardware without relying exclusively on Apple's authorized service network. The expansion covers both mobile and desktop product lines.
Alongside component availability, Apple generally provides the technical manuals and specialized rental tools needed to safely complete repairs on these devices.
