Apple is reportedly exploring a radical redesign for future iPhone hardware, aiming to build a completely bezel-free device devoid of a traditional frame and physical buttons. The vision points toward an uninterrupted, all-display exterior that redefines the device's form factor.
At the center of this endeavor is Samsung's in-development "full-surround" OLED display. This specialized panel is designed to wrap around the edges so that the screen literally becomes the sides of the smartphone, eliminating the need for conventional structural borders.
Removing standard edges and physical toggles would require massive shifts in user interface design and edge-touch rejection. While this concept highlights where the next generation of premium mobile hardware may be heading, production feasibility and release timing remain unannounced.
