Apple is reportedly making progress on its anticipated entry into the foldable smartphone segment, with new component pricing details coming to light. According to recent reports, the company is turning to Samsung to supply the screens for its rumored foldable handset, referred to as the iPhone Duo.

The supply arrangement indicates that Apple will pay Samsung around $250 for each primary inner foldable panel. In addition to the main flexible display, Apple will spend another $80 per unit for the exterior cover panel.
