Apple News has rolled out a dedicated Live Activity to help iPhone users keep track of the midterm election results in real time. The integration provides timely updates on key races directly as counts are reported.
With Live Activities, users can view ongoing developments from their Lock Screen or interact with updates via the Dynamic Island on supported devices. This allows voters and observers to stay informed at a glance without needing to continuously refresh the app.
The feature highlights Apple's effort to use interactive, real-time widgets for major live events and breaking news coverage.
