Google is tweaking the interface of its default dialer, introducing a dedicated Contacts tab to the bottom navigation bar in the latest beta release of the Google Phone app.

The updated layout is designed to streamline navigation by placing key functions within easy reach. By integrating Contacts directly into the bottom bar alongside other core features, users can access their full address book more quickly without jumping between separate apps or buried menus.

Because this feature is currently rolling out in the beta channel, availability remains limited. Google typically tests user interface adjustments with beta participants first to gather feedback before rolling them out to the stable channel for the wider Android community.
