Google is continuing its beta testing cycle with the release of Android 17 QPR2 Beta 5 for supported Pixel devices. The rollout marks the latest iteration in the company's Quarterly Platform Release testing phase ahead of a wider stable release.
Updates at this stage typically aim to refine overall platform stability, fix lingering issues identified in previous test builds, and introduce minor performance adjustments. Eligible Pixel owners enrolled in the Android Beta Program should see the update arrive over the air.
As with any pre-release software, testing builds may still contain unforeseen bugs, making it advisable for users to exercise caution before installing it on their primary devices.
