Repair specialist iFixit has completed its teardown of the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4. According to the analysis, both new smartwatch models continue the familiar trend of offering very low repairability for everyday users and independent technicians.

Despite ongoing design refinements across Apple's wearable lineup, the internal architecture of these devices presents significant hurdles. Tight internal packaging and specialized assembly methods make accessing essential components, such as the battery or display, a delicate and complex process.

The findings indicate that Apple has yet to make major strides in simplifying the repair process for its flagship smartwatches, underscoring persistent challenges for third-party repairs and device longevity.
