Motorola is officially rolling out the Android 17 update to the Motorola Edge 70 Pro. Users of the device are now beginning to receive the next major generation of the operating system.

According to reports, the new software update comes with a particularly hefty download size. Major Android platform upgrades traditionally introduce a variety of system-level enhancements and updated features, contributing to the substantial package size.

As is typical with over-the-air firmware deployments, the release is likely rolling out in stages and may take time to reach all regions and carrier variants. Users can check their device's system update menu to see if the upgrade is available to download.
