Early hands-on videos showcasing the OnePlus 16 have appeared online, offering a first glimpse at what could be the company's future hardware. The circulating clips place a major spotlight on the handset's rear design, specifically showing off built-in LED lights.
While illuminated accents and notification glyphs have gained traction across select modern smartphones, the footage suggests OnePlus is exploring its own implementation of integrated lighting. It remains to be seen whether the LEDs are designed purely for aesthetics, gaming immersion, or functional use cases such as notification alerts and camera fill lighting.
As with any early leaks, official specifications, features, and launch plans remain unconfirmed by OnePlus. Observers will have to wait for official announcements to see how this eye-catching design feature is realized in production.
