Google is rolling out a subtle visual refresh for one of its key Android applications. Spotted in the Phone by Google version 246 beta update, the app now features a redesigned launcher icon.
The update introduces a modern gradient look, moving away from the flatter appearance of the previous version. This refreshed aesthetic brings the dialer closer in line with Google's evolving design language seen across its other mobile services and core applications.
Because this new look is currently rolling out through the beta testing track, it may take some time before arriving on the stable channel for all Android users via the Google Play Store.
