Samsung's future Galaxy S27 might not see an upgrade in charging speeds. According to a new report, the upcoming flagship could once again be equipped with the familiar 25W wired charging rate seen on previous base models.

This move would reflect Samsung's historically cautious approach to charging hardware on its entry-level flagship tier. While many competing Android manufacturers continue to increase wattage ratings, Samsung has largely prioritized battery health, thermals, and consistency.

Because the Galaxy S27 release is still distant, official specifications and any potential changes to higher-tier models remain unconfirmed.
