Samsung may be gearing up to release its next major software update in India. According to a new report, the Galaxy S26 series is expected to receive the One UI 9 update based on Android 17 as early as this week.
The upcoming rollout is slated to bring Samsung's latest software experience to eligible flagship users in the region. Major OS releases generally introduce refreshed interface elements, security updates, and general system optimizations, though official specifics for this rollout are yet to be detailed.
Software deployments typically arrive in phased batches, so availability may expand gradually across devices over the coming days. Users can monitor their system settings to see if the update notification appears.
