Samsung has officially started distributing the Android 17 update to users, expanding its latest software rollout to the flagship Galaxy S24 lineup alongside older foldable smartphones.

The update marks an important milestone for owners of both standard flagship models and previous-generation foldables, bringing the latest Android platform upgrades to these supported handsets. Software deployments of this nature typically roll out in phases, meaning arrival times can vary depending on carrier requirements and regional schedules.

Galaxy S24 users and owners of older Samsung foldables can keep an eye out for over-the-air notifications or check for the update manually through their device settings.
