A report from Android Police highlights an annoying usability issue with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, where the outer cover display reportedly keeps flipping orientation unexpectedly during regular handling.
For foldable smartphone owners, the cover screen is essential for handling fast tasks without unfolding the device. Erratic display rotations can significantly disrupt daily use, interfering with navigation, media playback, and one-handed interactions.
While screen orientation glitches are often tied to software auto-rotate bugs or overly sensitive motion sensors, they can severely degrade the overall user experience until resolved.
